Dispose of Your Prescription Drugs

Prescription drug abuse is quickly rising as our area’s greatest drug threat.  Drug overdoses are on the rise and nearly three out of four are caused by prescription painkillers.  Ease of availability of prescription drugs is a major influence on this problem.  One way individuals (especially teens) access these drugs is by stealing them from medicine cabinets of their loved ones, neighbors, and friends.  The Northland Coalition’s Prescription Drug Drop-off program encourages you to properly dispose of any unwanted or outdated medicines so you can protect loved ones and our community from prescription drug abuse.

Help reduce prescription drug abuse and dispose of unwanted, unused, or expired medications at these locations:
(Simply bring the medications to one of locations listed and put them in the collection box.   No paperwork is required.  This program is free and anonymous.)
