As a result of the Clay County Opioid Settlement, the Northland Coalition is excited to continue contributing to sustainable reductions in youth substance use by supporting strategies aimed to build protective factors and reduce risk factors throughout Clay County. In order to build upon and sustain collaboration, mini-grant funding is available to local prevention coalitions, youth prevention clubs/advisory councils, prevention programs, and schools for 2026. Funding will be available for projects in Clay County that are based on evidence-based prevention science, target a youth substance use problem or related protective/risk factor, and include a feasible action plan and budget. Funding is limited. Interested organizations are encouraged to apply by January 26, 2026.
